The At-Ta'awun Quran Academy is an institution designed to help educate future generations in the art of reciting the Quran correctly. The Noble Quran represents the lasting miracle of the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) and as such is a testimony to his truthfulness in calling people of all nations to the worship of One Lord.
The recitation of the Quran represents an act of worship for all muslims and is a means of gaining closer to the Lord of all the worlds, Allah, the Almighty.
The Quran Academy seeks to support children in their learning of the basic Arabic alphabet and then progressing onto reading the actual Quran. Advanced students will develop further by learning how to recite the Quran correctly commonly referred to as 'tajweed'. |

As part of working with and for the community At-Ta'awun organises a wide range of enrichment opportunities. These activities are designed to help build a variety of important lifeskills.
Activities include annual umrah trips, adventure days for brothers, leisure activities for sisters, community iftars, fund raising for other charitable causes.. to name just a few. |
